Tickets and prices
Admission tickets are available online or at our front desk. We do not require that you purchase tickets online. Ticket times are for the shows in the planetarium star theatre. Please arrive early to allow time for check-in.
General admission shows and programs are recommended for ages 8+.
Tickets for the 9:45am and 3:45pm time slots are available in person. Weekday morning time slots are often dedicated to field trip programming for schools.
All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be transferred or rescheduled. Email [email protected] for more information.

Admission:
Family (4 people, 2 adults max.): $75.65
Adult (age 19-54): $22.75*
Senior (age 55+): $21.75*
Youth (ages 12-18): $21.75*
Child (ages 5-11): $20.75*

Eligibility and Conditions
- Age Restriction: Children under the age of 5 are eligible for free general admission.
- Accompanied by Family: This benefit applies only when children are accompanied by their family.
- Family Definition: For the purposes of this policy, a family is defined as a group consisting of at least one adult and not more than two adults.
- Maximum Number of Free Children: A maximum of three children under the age of 5 can be admitted for free per family group (two adults).
- Identification: Adults must provide a valid ID to verify their relationship with the children if requested.
- Exclusion of Large Groups: Organized groups, such as daycare centers, schools, or any other large groups, are not eligible for this free admission offer. These groups must follow the standard group admission procedures and rates.
- Advance Reservation: Families are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance to ensure availability and streamline the entry process.
*A $1.00 transaction fee will be applied to each ticket purchased online.

Location and directions
We are located in the beautiful seaside Vanier Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. A visit to the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre can be combined with a scenic walk along the seawall to enjoy views of the ocean, beaches, mountains, and downtown.
The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is easily accessible by public transit. If you plan to drive, pay parking managed by Easy Park is available in front of the Space Centre building (Lot 60).

Directions:
There are many options for finding your way to the Space Centre in Vanier Park.
Transit: The #2 and #32 buses stop within a convenient five minute walk of the Space Centre. The most common stops are along Burrard Street in Downtown, at the Burrard Station Skytrain, and along MacDonald street in Kitsilano.
Driving: The Space Centre is a 5-minute drive from Downtown on the south end of the Burrard Bridge.
Walking: The Space Centre is a 15 minute walk from Downtown, 10 minute walk from Granville Island, or 5 minute walk from Kitsilano Beach.
Cycling: The Space Centre is a 10 minute cycle from Downtown, a 5 minute cycle from Granville Island, or a 2-3 minute cycle from Kitsilano beach.
Other Options:
False Creek Ferry delivers you right to Vanier Park from Downtown Vancouver or Granville Island.

The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is committed to providing a safe, friendly, welcoming environment for visitors of all ages. Each person who chooses to enter the Space Centre is asked to follow the guidelines governing personal conduct and admissibility.
If at any time during your visit you are made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome or unsafe, please report your concern to Space Centre staff.
