This evening program runs from 5:45 PM to 9:00 PM (or 9:45 PM, depending on the schedule) and provides a private group experience after public hours. Activities include a hands-on bottle rocket building workshop and launch, an orientation to the night sky in the Planetarium Star Theatre, a live science demonstration, a tour of the observatory, and time to explore the Cosmic Courtyard.
What is the age range and required group size for this program?
The program is designed for children and youth aged 6 to 14 (Grades 4-7 for school groups). Similar to the overnight, we require a minimum group size of 25 and can accommodate a maximum of 60 attendees, including adult chaperones.
What is the cost and the chaperone ratio requirement?
The price is $43.50 per child/youth, and $21.75 for additional adults. There is also a $45.00 maintenance fee per booking. We require a safety ratio of 1 adult for every 4 children/youth, and one adult per every four children is admitted for free.

The Not-Quite-An-Overnight Adventure is available every day of the week. To secure your group’s private evening booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost is required.
